While it is extremely obvious as to what his favorite food is, he can eat pretty much anything, even objects that aren't edible. Cookie Monster only eats cookies and nothing else: This is not true.Besides Hoots the Owl sang the Sometimes food song, and Cookie Monster said "now is sometime" and ate the cookie. He had been eating healthy food well before the this era as well, in fact he even RAPPED about healthy food in 1987. Cookie Monster to this day, he is still most commonly seen eating cookies like he always has been (As someone who loved the show as a child, even after this whole thing happened, I can assure you that he is still Cookie Monster). Cookie Monster stopped eating cookies and is now the Veggie Monster: The media really blew that out of proportion back in 2005 (During Season 36, which focused on health and nutrition).Miss Piggy appeared on Sesame Street: Nope that never happened, but Sesame Street characters did appear on the Muppet Show.Back then Kermit was more of an abstract lizard like character, but over time, he slowly became a frog, which he became by the time Sesame Street debuted. Kermit was created for Sesame Street: WRONG! Kermit was created for Jim Henson's first show called Sam and Friends, in 1955, FOURTEEN YEARS before Sesame Street even premiered.(While I don't agree, there is nothing wrong with thinking that Elmo ruined the show, but try not to blame him for Kermit's absence when he had nothing to do with it, and at least try to express opinions in a civil way regardless of whether you agree with the viewpoint that Elmo ruined the show or not) As a result, he only appeared in new material TWICE since then. So that means that Kermit cannot appear in new material without Disney's consent. But what really made Kermit absent in the show was Disney's acquisition of the Muppets (as in the Muppet Show) in 2004, and Kermit the Frog is included in that deal. Kermit's appearances decreased after Jim Henson's death in 1990.
